The first and most important step in our process is the assessment. That’s where we get to meet with prospective residents, learn about their independent living needs, and figure out if they are a good fit for Independence Landing. Don’t worry! This is not a show-me-style skill assessment where you have to perform independent living tasks. This will be an interview-style assessment where you will be asked some basic questions in a comfortable environment.

All applicants are required to pay the $200 assessment fee in order to be considered. The preferred method of payment is by check on the day of your assessment made out to Specialized Supports.
All assessments will be done at Independence Landing located at 3025 Schoolhouse Road, Tallahassee, FL.
